A moment of moral clarity

March 5, 2026 | Justin Amler

The eruption of open confrontation this past weekend should not have surprised anyone paying attention. The trajectory leading to the current conflict has been visible for decades. Iran represents an external and existential threat to the State of Israel, but also a severe threat to the wider world – including especially its Arab neighbours.

One word to embody Jewish identity

March 5, 2026 | Rabbi Ralph Genende

Antizionism fuels the hatred of Jews

March 2, 2026 | Galit Jones

The ideology animating the hostility that is reshaping Jewish life in Australia — antizionism — simply does not fit the prevailing mental model of antisemitism. Antizionism explicitly disavows both racial hatred and religious bigotry, framing itself instead as “political critique” of an “ideology”.

February 13, 2026 | Ilan Evyatar

New UN reports confirm Gaza has ample food, was never in a famine

February 9, 2026 | Alana Schetzer

On January 5, the United Nations put out a media release acknowledging that “100 per cent of basic food needs” in Gaza were being met, though this was not reported widely. Indeed, there are still frequent media claims that not enough aid is entering Gaza, despite this UN acknowledgement.

Editorial: A transformational opportunity

March 18, 2026 | Colin Rubenstein

The current operations should not be viewed as the beginning of a new war but as another phase in a long-running one. To pretend that the current conflict somehow begins only when Israel or the United States respond directly to Iran’s overt and covert aggression turns the spirit of the laws of armed conflict on their head.
